Another fun event that has become a family tradition for us is the Cartersville Christmas Parade. This was the 6th year in a row we were able to go (every year since we've lived in Cartersville). The only thing missing this year was Daddy. He had to work, so I decided that we weren't breaking with tradition and we forged ahead. It wasn't nearly as cold this year as it has been in previous years. That was great... The parade is always on the first Thursday of December. I think everyone in Cartersville was out this year. It was more crowded than ever before. We always have a wonderful time with Aunt Kim and Uncle Tripp, Ivy and Cole. This year, Aunt Carrie, Uncle Robby and Larkin came along (this was their first parade, plus it was Larkin's birthday). We had a great time!!
We ate at Chick-Fil-A first to celebrate Larkin's birthday...
Then off to the parade...
Mom and Aunt Carrie
Everybody piled up behind Aunt Carrie's car...

These were some of our favorite floats:
Mommy and her "gang"...
What a great night! We even managed to keep our car from being towed. I hope you guys remember all of these fun traditions when you're older. It warms my heart to get to share in these moments with you all. This is what life is all about...
"Think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; no many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things-the things that are not- to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore as it is written, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord." I Corinthians 1: 26- 31
