Michael Has Arrived!

Well, with Thanksgiving comes the arrival of Michael, our Elf on the Shelf.

This year, he was into trouble right from the beginning.

The first thing he did was change the color of our milk.

Yummy!

Jacob, your expression as you opened the refrigerator was priceless:

Luci and Audrey, you girls were pretty excited, too...

Was there ever any question about what would be for breakfast?

Frosted Flake and green milk, of course!

We have a lot of fun every year with Michael.  Hope you all are behaving as he reports to Santa every night.

Now I know why this season is called "the most wonderful time of the year."

We celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We have a lot to be thankful for, and Jesus and the salvation that he alone brings, is at the very top of the list.

With this season comes a lot of fun and family traditions.  We get to go to a lot of fun places and experience lots of different things during the Christmas season.  But, may we never forget the true, real "Reason for the Season."  May He always be first in our thoughts during Christmas.  This is what CHRISTmas is all about!

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.  And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.   The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this."  Isaiah 9:  6-7
