For your birthday, you wanted to go see High School Musical 2. It was being acted out at The Grand Theatre in downtown Cartersville. You were very excited. It was a couple of weeks before your actual birthday, Nov. 17, so I had to make sure that you understood that this was counted as part of your birthday.
We had a lot of fun. You, Luci, Mommy, Aunt Kim, Mimi, Ms. Suzanne, and your best friend, Isabel got dressed up and headed out for a fun-filled night. We started out at Antonino's, an Italian restaurant next to the theatre. You girls had a great time.

Waiting for the show to start...
Audrey, you couldn't wait to see Kimberly. She's a senior at Woodland High School. We also go to church with her. She was Sharpay, your favorite character, in the musical. She was your VBS teacher one year, and you guys just bonded. You had to have your picture made with her.
Then, on your actual birthday, we started out with breakfast at Shoney's. Mimi's church goes once a month for birthday breakfasts and so we decided to go with her, since today was your day.
You even got to meet the Shoney Bear and have hot fudge cake at 10:00 in the morning.

Then, all of the family met that night at Chick-fil-A for dinner. We had a great time!
Granna always gives you guys a special book for your birthday and for Christmas. This year yours is "My Child, My Princess" by Beth Moore.
This year was so special to me because JD, Jacob and Luci decided (on their own), to put some of their own money together and buy you a present. They picked out a furry, purple phone and then this "pretend" iphone. I think that was your favorite present of the night. They knew just what you'd like.
Granna buys your birthday cake every year. This time, you wanted Strawberry Shortcake. I think it turned out beautiful, and it tasted delicious!

...with a little help from Luci.
All in all, I think you had a great birthday. I hope your birthday is a time every year that you will look forward to...being born is a big deal!
